The term "asexual" is used to describe any individual who does not experience sexual attraction towards anyone, meaning that they do not have sexual feelings or desires towards anyone, or to have little or no natural desire to be a sexual relationship with anyone.
This does not mean that asexuals do not experience romantic attraction. They can experience romantic, aesthetic, and sensual, platonic attraction.
